Who we are
This website is operated for the clinic of Dr. Vivek Gupta, Shop No. 4, MA-46, near Maheshwari Public School, Sector 4, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302004. For privacy questions, write to connect@drvivekgupta.com.
What we collect
When you send an appointment request, the form asks for:
- Your name and mobile number
- Your email address, if you choose to provide one
- Your age, if you choose to provide it
- The main concern, preferred date and preferred time
- An optional short description of the problem
- Your consent to be contacted about the request
The website also receives basic technical information that any web server needs to deliver a page safely, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This information is processed by the hosting provider for security and reliability.
Why we use it
- To contact you and arrange the appointment you requested
- To prepare for the visit and understand the urgency of the problem
- To keep a record of the request and the clinic's response
- To protect the website from spam, abuse and technical faults
- To meet legal and professional record-keeping obligations
We do not use the information for advertising, and we do not sell it. The website does not currently run advertising or analytics trackers.
Who processes it
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. Appointment emails are delivered through Resend, an email delivery service. These providers process the information on the clinic's behalf so the website and the booking request can work. They may process data outside India.
Some pages include a Google Maps embed so you can find the clinic. When the map loads, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address and may set cookies. This is controlled by Google, not by the clinic. You can use the “Open in Maps” link instead if you prefer not to load the embed.
How long we keep it
Appointment requests are kept in the clinic's email and records for as long as needed to manage the visit, follow-up and any professional record-keeping requirement. When the information is no longer needed, it is deleted or archived in line with the clinic's record-keeping practice.
How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS. Access to the clinic's email and records is limited to the people who need it to manage appointments and care. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send identity documents, reports or other sensitive files through the website form.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information the clinic holds about you, or withdraw consent for future contact, by writing to connect@drvivekgupta.com. Some records may need to be kept for legal or professional reasons; if so, the clinic will explain why.
Children
The appointment form should be completed by an adult. If you are requesting an appointment for a child, use the parent or guardian's contact details. Please call the clinic before bringing an infant or young child, so the team can advise whether the clinic or a paediatric emergency department is the right place.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website or the clinic's processes change. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
