Emergency guidance
If this is an emergency, call 108. Do not wait.
The clinic provides urgent care during clinic hours. It is not an emergency department. For a life-threatening problem, an ambulance is the fastest route to treatment.
Ambulance
108

National emergency helpline
112Recognise the signs

If the person is unconscious and not breathing normally, start CPR if you are trained. The dispatcher can guide you over the phone.
What not to do
- Do not drive yourself if you have chest pain, severe breathlessness or feel faint.
- Do not give food or drink to someone who is drowsy or unconscious.
- Do not wait for clinic hours when a warning sign is present.
- Do not apply home remedies to a deep wound or burn before assessment.
If someone else is going to the hospital
Send a list of medicines, known allergies, recent reports and the patient's ID. Share the ambulance's destination with the family.
After the emergency
Once the hospital has stabilised the patient, the clinic can help with follow-up, wound care, medicine review and a clear plan for the next few days.
Clinic or hospital?
Not every problem needs an ambulance. Every warning sign does.
For fever, dehydration, a minor wound or a rash, the clinic can usually help. For chest pain, severe breathlessness, a stroke, a seizure or heavy bleeding, go to a hospital emergency or call 108.
